Good ventilation is always important and this is especially true for the kitchen. Good ventilation is crucial for an environment where cooking takes place every day with a lot of steam and other gases. Almost every kitchen in the Netherlands has an extractor fan these days. But good kitchen ventilation goes much further than that.
As a ventilation specialist, Nedco knows better than anyone what is needed for good kitchen ventilation. Whether ventilation takes place through the ceiling or (as is increasingly common) through the floor; Nedco provides the perfect solution for every situation and is happy to help you find the ideal kitchen ventilation solution.
This is why Nedco is happy to explain what to look out for when uninstalling kitchen ventilation and what options are available. Are you looking for guidance or advice? Then get in touch with our specialists.
Finding the right kitchen ventilation parts is not that easy. Several factors play a role in this. For example, it is important to know where the extraction system is located, whether the extraction goes through the ceiling or the floor, and what size the connection should be. Each situation requires its own unique solution.
The most common ventilation duct diameter size is 150 mm. If you are looking for a rectangular ventilation duct, you will find ducts measuring, for example, 220x90 mm. Although these are the most commonly used ducts, this does not always mean that they are appropriate for every solution. That is why Nedco provides ventilation ducts in various diameters and dimensions. As a result, Nedco has ventilation ducts to fit all common extractor hoods.
Most kitchen ventilation involves ventilation ducts. That is why it is important to use the right parts for this. The most important thing about a ventilation duct is that it fits together seamlessly. It is therefore important to use the right pipe connectors and fittings. Nedco has a wide range of components for all standard dimensions so that the ventilation system can fit together seamlessly.
At Nedco we are often asked whether the ventilation ducts can also be glued to the extractor hood, for example. But we strongly advise against this. We recommend using tapes for this purpose. This allows the fittings and ducts to fit together perfectly.
Ventilation grilles come in many different shapes and materials. For kitchen ventilation systems, we recommend using stainless steel grilles. Stainless steel bull nose grilles with coarse mesh are particularly suitable for kitchen ventilation. The higher the air passage of a ventilation grille, the more suitable it is for the kitchen. We also have a wide range of ventilation grilles for rectangular ventilation ducts.
