3 special Nedco products
“From November 1986, I have been busy producing the perfect drip tray for underneath washing machines.” This is how B.M. Nederlof recounts the start of Nedco in the magazine “Bijzonder gewoon, gewoon bijzonder” (“Exceptionally plain, plainly exceptional”) published for the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Nedco. Equipped with the big aluminium suitcase full of Nedco products, he was visiting a variety of customers across and outside the Netherlands for years. He still has this suitcase, even though at present he does not hit the roads any more.
In the past 35 years, Nedco has developed into the reliable producer that listens to their clients, designs their own products and produces these in-house. In these 35 years, Nedco has grown from being a supplier of plastic drip trays into a full-fledged and efficient manufacturer with an impressive assortment of more than 3500 ventilation and white goods accessories.
On top of that, Nedco has the ability to offer custom products, thanks to their in-house production facilities. Apart from offering extensive production and several customisation possibilities, Nedco is eager to brainstorm with their clients about a purposeful and perfect solution. For 35 years and counting, Nedco has been happy to deploy their expertise to help their customers.
In Nedco’s wide and deep assortment, a few ‘special products’ are typical for Nedco’s plainness. Below, we will elaborate on these products:
626,001. 11- Stainless steel outdoor air vent bull nose model Ø100mm
Nedco’s stainless steel bull nose grilles are the perfect solution, with a sleek design, to properly cover ventilation ducts on outdoor walls. Apart from design, also functionality has been taken into account and the stainless steel bull nose grille is provided with a so-called drip conductor. Because of this, rain water will be drained more properly and no water marks (which will turn green after a while) will be left on the walls. In order to provide a suitable solution for any situation, Nedco produces bull nose grilles both of 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel, and they are available in several sizes and colours.
Article number 626.001.11 is an outdoor bull nose grille with fine mesh and slats. The paddles of this bull nose grille create smooth air conduction and its design fits most homes. The use of fine mesh prevents most bugs from walking into the drains, which can in turn prevent clogging.
This stainless steel bull nose grille is made of 304 stainless steel, which is a quite sustainable material and very strong to boot. The stainless steel bull nose grille (article number 626.001.11) is provided with a drip conductor.
601.004.00 - Drip tray Super 650x650x60mm
Without a doubt, the plastic drip tray is of significant value in Nedco’s history. 35 years ago, B.M. Nederlof started the company with the sale of the plastic drip tray and 35 years later the plastic drip tray is still part of Nedco’s assortment.
The plastic drip trays are installed under a washing machine to collect the water in case of leakage. The drip trays are made of impact resistant plastic, which gives them a long lifetime. Because Nedco produces the drip trays in-house, multiple sizes, variants and relating accessories are available.
The Drip Tray Super 650x650x60mm has two pre-drilled holes and is provided with closure caps and a drain tube. This makes it easy to cover washer and dryer drain hoses.
606.014.00 - Washer/dryer pedestal ‘Heavy Bold’
Obviously, washing machine pedestals should not be absent within Nedco’s white goods assortment. These washing machine pedestals are available in different versions, from single pedestals to extra high pedestals with two drawers. With Nedco, anything is possible.
By means of a washing machine pedestal, you can comfortably load and unload your laundry into and from your washer or dryer. A drawer or wire basket provides extra storage space. The height of all versions can easily be adjusted by means of the adjustable feet.
Article number 606.014.00 is a washing machine pedestal that is delivered with a wire basket. By using the adjustable feet, the height of these washing machine pedestals can easily be adjusted. Besides, the washer/dryer pedestal ‘Heavy Bold’ is extra sturdy thanks to the weld attachment.
