In 1986 Nedco began by selling plastic drip trays. This drip tray is still part of the Nedco product range alongside over 3000 other products.
For the first few years, our range consisted mainly of plastic ventilation products, white goods accessories and brochure displays. Opening our own factory in China provided more and more opportunities to make products in aluminium, steel, and stainless steel. Our specialisations in the ventilation, DIY and display sectors are further strengthened with an enormous range of products, most of which are developed and produced in-house.
Our core range consists of ventilation, white goods and display products in plastic and metal.
In 1986, Nedco started out in two garages just 50m² in total. This is where the foundations were laid for the Nedco we know today.
Over the past 33 years Nedco has undergone many stages of development. We have now grown to a location of 4,000 m2 with a total of 7,000 m2 of floor space!

View our vacancy pageThe diversity of our staff is a special feature of our company. From the beginning, Nedco has employed various workers who face barriers in the labour market. People with physical or mental disabilities can work at Nedco. We offer them a suitable job and proper guidance.
Thanks to our years of experience with Wajong benefit recipients, we even received former Minister Donner on a working visit. The minister was impressed with our working methods and praised them in the national media.
We also sponsor various projects related to people with disabilities.
We have been manufacturing our own products for years. This allows us to guarantee quality and maintain control over the entire process.
We started with our own injection moulding shop and a handful of moulds. Now we have more than 250 moulds for this machine. And with the addition of a robot, we now have the ability to produce 24 hours a day.
Aside from this form of production, we also have a large number of folding tables available on which we can fold acrylic sheets. These are used for folding displays, among other things.
We also have a polishing machine, a laser machine, and a UV printer for providing each product with the right finish.
Our warehouse has 4 areas:
1. Parts / semi-finished products / packaging.
2. A 'high rack' area which includes the grab stock for bulk items.
3. The 'drive-in rack' where products are stored in large volumes. The 'drive-in rack' can hold 8 pallets back to back
4. Small 'shelf racks' for the fans and other small items which are stored in smaller volumes.
Two reach trucks drive around the warehouse. The tight turn radius of these trucks enables driving lanes to be kept narrow. As a result, the racks can sit tightly on top of each other, providing a large storage capacity in a limited space.
CSR can be implemented in various ways. At Nedco we try to apply it to all areas of work.
That's why we employ people who face barriers to the labour market, we separate all our waste, and we recently had 468 solar panels installed on our roof.
We also have 3 skylights in our warehouse for plenty of natural light. This means that the lights only need to be switched on during the winter. Our products are also not sensitive to heat or cold, so we can save on heating costs. This is how we contribute to the future.
